Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her help and commitment to improving upon South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) products and services through an engagement together with the company's senior supervisors at a strategic arranging session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the many social grant beneficiaries, who excelled during the 2024 matric final exams.
From the 724 156 full-time learners who registered for the National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing eighty one% from the registered pupils within the education and learning sector.
These learners attained a commendable pass rate of 86%.
