Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her support and determination to increasing South African Social Security Company (SASSA) providers during an engagement with the company's senior supervisors at a strategic setting up session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the various social grant beneficiaries, who excelled from the 2024 matric examinations.
From the 724 156 full-time learners who registered for your National Senior Certificate (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing eighty one% with the registered pupils while in the training sector.
These learners obtained a commendable pass rate of 86%.
